Meet The Crow River Food Council Members!
Live Wright is proud to support the development of the Crow River Local Food Council (all made possible through a Statewide Health Improvement Program, SHIP, grant)! A very strong and diverse group of people have been chosen to seat the council! The first meeting is on December 18th and will then meeting monthly. Our residents are truly lucky to have these wonderful people working together to solve such an important issue we face: FOOD....

be launched statewide at the Food Access Summit on October 29th. Whether you
can attend the summit or not, we invite you to join us for a follow up meeting
where we'll dig into the food charter and explore how it can inform, drive and
impact our work in Central Minnesota.

Local Food Council Forming, Application Now Online!
The
application is now online for those interested in serving our the Crow River
Region Local Food Council. Applications are due on October 24th.
You
can access the application on the Crow
River Region Local Food Initiative website. Along with the application,
there is additional information on local food council’s and you can also read
the report created from interviews and community forums completed across Wright
County that describe the recommendations and specific opportunities to improve
our local food system.
We
ask you all to consider sharing this information with your contacts and please
encourage people you know that have an interest in local food, to apply!
