How to Shake those Winter Blues

OUTDOOR WINTER RECREATION FACILITIES
The Wright County Parks Department offers winter recreation facilities for your enjoyment.  These areas include sledding hills, ski trails (traditional and skate ski), winter walking trails, and snowshoe areas.

Cross Country Ski Trails

Snow Shoeing Trails

Ney Park and Nature Center is located at 5212 73rd Street NW, Maple Lake, MN.  The Naure Center will be open to the public Saturdays, 12:00(noon) to 4:00 p.m., January 1st through March 12th.  Come enjoy the trails of Ney Park, and then come inside the Nature Center to warm up and view the Nature Center's displays.   There are a limited number of rentals available for traditional ski packages and snowshoes, both at a reasonable fee.
